Terms & Member Agreement

1. Who we are and accepting these terms

Segovias ("Segovias," "we," "us") provides an online membership platform for mothers, including planning tools, an AI assistant called Sage, income roadmaps, community spaces (the Founding Circle and pods), a member help exchange, and related programs (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, checking the agreement box, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms & Member Agreement ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

2. Private beta and changes

Segovias is in private beta. Features may change, be paused or be removed, and the Service may contain errors or interruptions. Applications are approved manually and we may decline or revoke access at our discretion.

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly at info@segoviasofficial.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Membership, billing and cancellation

The Founding Member membership is billed monthly in advance at the price shown at checkout (currently $20/month) through our payment provider. Prices may change in the future; we will give you notice before a new price applies to your membership. The current price is not guaranteed for life.

Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial months.

If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access if payment cannot be collected. Taxes may apply.

5. Sage and AI-generated content

Sage is an AI tool. It can make mistakes, misunderstand context, or produce incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable suggestions. Its plans, task lists and guidance are general suggestions only.

You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions, including how you use your time, money, family responsibilities and business. Always use your own judgment and verify important information.

6. Not medical, mental health, legal, tax or financial advice

Nothing in the Service, including Sage, emotional check-ins, programs, coaching or community content, is medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and it does not create any professional-client relationship. Consult a qualified professional for advice about your situation.

Segovias is not a crisis service. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or others, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call the Postpartum Support International helpline at 1-800-944-4773, or call 911 or your local emergency number.

7. No income guarantee

Income paths, roadmaps, milestones, examples and testimonials are for education and inspiration. They are not promises or guarantees of any earnings or results. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your effort, skills, market conditions and circumstances. Starting any business involves risk, including the risk of losing money.

8. Community, pods and the help exchange

Be kind, honest and respectful. Do not harass, discriminate, spam, share others' private information, post illegal or harmful content, or solicit members in ways they have not agreed to. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Members are independent individuals, not employees, agents or contractors of Segovias. Segovias does not vet, endorse, supervise or guarantee any member, offer, trade or work product. Any arrangement you make with another member, including through the help exchange, is solely between you and that member, and you are responsible for your own due diligence, safety, agreements and taxes.

Exchange Credits have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred outside the Service or redeemed for money, and may be adjusted or discontinued. They are not wages or payment for services.

9. Your content and privacy

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Segovias a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display and process your content only to operate and improve the Service. Testimonials you give may be shown in the Service as described where you submit them.

Brain dumps and private check-in notes you send to Sage are processed to generate your response and are not saved; we retain only your selected mood score. Your schedule is private to you. We do not sell your personal information. Do not share sensitive information about others without their permission.

10. Our content

The Service, including its design, text, programs, templates and branding, belongs to Segovias or its licensors. You may use it for your own personal and business purposes as a member, but you may not copy, resell, redistribute or create competing products from it.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEGOVIAS AND ITS FOUNDERS, OWNERS AND TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, INCOME, DATA OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, AI SUGGESTIONS, OR INTERACTIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS WITH OTHER MEMBERS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Segovias from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your dealings with other members.

14. Ending your membership

You may stop using the Service and cancel anytime. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 and 15) continue after your account ends.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at info@segoviasofficial.com and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
